Architecture can be simply defined as the art of designing buildings and structures. However, the design, the planning, and most importantly, the creativity that go into architectural works are colossal.  Architecture holds an important place in our society, because many architectural works become cultural or political symbols, and a select few, such as The Great Wall of China, even become landmarks. Without architecture, none of these structures would ever have been able to be built. Therefore, development in the field of architecture is extremely important, and should be sustained, especially since architects are rarely touted in our society today.
